ST LAWRENCE O’TOOLE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Since the publication of the 1827 - 1988 History of Freestone, it has come to light that the following marriages, and probably some more, were celebrated in the church: May 1910 - Katherine Owens to Thomas Phelan, Michael McMahon to Miss Nolan, Frank and Dorrie Watts.

St Lawrence O’Toole Roman Catholic Church, held its last Mass on 25th September 1983, and is now the private home of the Beattie family.

ST LUKE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH

St Luke’s Anglican Church holds regular services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. At present the Clergymen serving Freestone from St Mark’s Church in Warwick are Venerable Archdeacon Rod McDonald and the Reverend Norman Lawless who is the associate Priest.

FREESTONE UNITING CHURCH

Freestone Uniting Church still conducts regular services in the tiny church on the first and third Sundays of each month. At present the Clergymen serving the Freestone area are Reverend Wesley Furness and Pastor Selwyn Brown.

Sunday School is held for all children of the district on alternate Sundays.
